We (currently) own three servers - two virtual boxes based on one unit and a seperate, smaller account at another company.
I’ve been asked several times in the past why we’d do this and thought I’d explain the logic behind it.

We support writers and authors in creating a site that showcases your talents - by allowing you simply to write. We create your blog based site, and hand the reigns over to you, allowing you to post your content, without effort.

24/7 Ticketing and billing System
We answer all email questions within 24 hours of logging them with us. We aim to resolve all minor problems within 24 hours, and all major ones will have a patch within 24 hours, with a final fix estimated at that point. Log in here

Fantastico as standard with all packages One click installs are an important function for the money concious author - we offer fantastico, with basic support as standard on ALL accounts. What's more, as long as you don't exceed your space, and keep the scripts up to date within fantastico, we don't limit WHAT you can install.

Money saving recommendations and one question per month on ANYTHING to do with your site. If we can see a way to save you money, we will recommend them to you. Once a month, we offer you a complimentary account audit. You can opt out at any time. Simply log your ticket with us and we'll see what we can do. If we've already written the article we'll provide the link - if you ask something that becomes an article, you get credit on the post, plus a small 'bounty' for the question. If you need to ask any other non server(tech) related questions, you can add a bolt on package, and keep getting your answers. We offer affordable coaching to anyone that needs it - writer or otherwise.
